Furniture Design Wings Leisure Chair by Wei Jingye / 魏靖野 Wings is a leisure chair inspired by the movement of butterflies. The form refers to butterfly wings in different states, giving a solid object a sense of life. The back is connected to the middle of the seat, and the seat surface opens on both sides to wrap the hips for greater comfort. The legs use a double layer support that increases stability. The chair is produced as one piece by 3D printing in blue translucent plastic. The outer surface carries a striped texture that recalls wing patterns and increases friction.
