Lavvu Small Tables

Dorian Asscherick

Furniture Design Lavvu Small Tables by Dorian Asscherick Inspired by the lavvu, a temporary dwelling used by the Sami people of northern Scandinavia, The Lavvu coffee tables underscores lightness and flexible use. Much like the nomadic tents they were inspired by, the Lavvu tables have been designed to respond quickly to ever-changing lifestyles, habits and demands. If the conical shape and wooden slats are a clear reference to the Sami tradition, the colors recall reindeer hides. Simple to disassemble, they allow the user to easily recycle them at the end of their life.
