Furniture Design Embroidery Upholstery Seating by Yongphan Sundara-vicharana Embroidery Collection is a group of upholstered seating and tables for living spaces. The collection includes a one-seat sofa, a two-seat sofa, a coffee table and a side table. Smocking, a hand sewing technique taken from the fashion industry, gathers the fabric into pleats and forms patterned reliefs on the upholstery. The smocking detail replaces the hub-pulling method used in traditional sofa work. Fabric and leather are combined in each piece. The aim is to present upholstery craft in a new visual form.
