Furniture Design Bisu Bed by Matteo Congiu Bisu is a bed made entirely of cork, designed to support restful sleep. The frame contains no metal parts, such as screws or joints, which can increase electrostatic flows around a sleeping body. Cork is a natural and antistatic material, so the bed reduces the effect of magnetic and electrostatic flows on rest. The curved lines of the frame also limit the accumulation of such flows on the surface. Bisu measures 2200 mm by 2000 mm by 350 mm. Each bed is made by hand in Sardinia with Sardinian cork.
