Furniture Design Trifold Table, Stool, Trestle, Plinth by Max Hauser The Trifold's shape is informed by a combination of triangular surfaces and a unique folding sequence. It has a minimalist yet complex and sculptural design, from every view angle it reveals a unique composition. The design can be scaled to suit various purposes without compromising its structural integrity. The Trifold is a showcase of digital fabrication methods and the use of new manufacturing technologies such as robotics. The production process has been developed in collaboration with a robotic fabrication company specialising in folding metals with 6-axis robots.
