Furniture Design Diodon Solium sofa by Petr Levushkin Diododon Soliun is designed as an art object with full furniture functionality. It can be used as an armchair, with an optional puff fastened to the back, or as a sofa for one person. The object's carcass is made of mechanic and bone - shaped, polished plywood sheets, tied together with uncovered steel bolts. The soft parts are made of black leather, refined using an old technology, where the face is colored and the back face stays untouched. Soft parts are fastened to the carcass with belts. The polished wood elements are used for reinforcement, decoration and covering the construction joints
