Furniture Design Stems_CT_03 coffee table by Jeffrey A Day Stems_CT_03 is inspired by stems, leaves and seed pods that hang from trees. The structural tubing or “stems” act as the foundational base of the piece, and is the vehicle for the design. The stems rise above the table surface and add another dimension to the piece. The Table surfaces “seed pods “are designed to be a trilogy of ovals randomly overlapping in a dominate, sub-dominate and subordinate layout. Stems_CT_03 is a whimsical look at tree pods and stems.
