Furniture Design Slices bookshelf by Alessandra Meacci Slices are wall modules that turn the classic bookshelf into a three-dimensional decorative element, inspired by the world of adventure and nature.The creative challenge behind this project was to reinterpret the most common furniture item, the bookshelf everyone has in his house or office, turning it in an object to awaken curiosity and arouse wonder; to find in an everyday need, the spark to realize an unexpected and uncommon object, that leads imagination far away.The bookshelf is a sculptural volume dismantled in a sequence of sections, that are the physical supports for the books.
