Furniture Design Rockaby Portable Cot by David Longhurst A portable folding cot for infants up to 7 months.The frame is made from two parallel lengths of wood joined with dowels, with a pivoting arm at each end.A hammock type cot, made from machine washable cotton canvas, is hung from the ends of the arms.The frame is kept stable and locked open by two spars, with offset mounted feet, that slide through holes in the frame.When disassembled it is stored in a canvas draw string bag with shoulder strap.There are no metal parts.It is simple to use, light, elegant and practical.The Rockaby is a versatile addition to a modern household or as a travel cot.
